Hammerhead app? Setup Karoo2 through app?

Hello, i recently preordered the Karoo 2, and i was trying to browse the apple app store to download a hammerhead app, but it does not look like such is available. Is there a Karoo app available, furthermore, will the karoo be able to be setup via app? I'd like to download the app to get ahead of my setup.

I have both a bolt and an 830, and i really like how you can do all the setup changes through the elemnt app. That's my gripe about the garmin, setup is a pain.

Hi Alex,

As of now, an App is not available for Karoo on the Playstore or the App store. We may add it in the future but right now, we are not committing ourselves to a dedicated timeline for its implementation.

I ordered the Karoo 2 and it would ship around the end of October.

I read something about the possibility to setup the device online so it's good to go as soon as it arrives. What's the URL for this page? I cant find it in my account.

Hey Jos,

From what I recall, HH mentioned that 'closer' to the shipping date, they will send out that info and allow us to set up the device. My guess is that they'd do this once we've made the final payment for the Karoo 2.

I just noticed the Karoo Companion App on the Google Playstore. I downloaded it and tried unsuccessfully connecting it to my Karoo 1. Is there any plan to release an App for the Karoo 1?

I am waiting for delivery of my Karoo 2, but will the Karoo 2 App allow me to upload my ride to my my phone and Strava? This useful feature is on the Wahoo Elemnt Bolt and i am surprised that It is not available on the Karoo.
