Battery % indicator for powermeter and other sensors
AnsweredHi, I'm using an Assioma Duo on my road bike, and the details on the sensor list, shows me the V of the battery, but it would be more useful to show the % battery left like on the Shimano Di2 sensor.
Don't know if will be possible to add some popup, or tile on top of screen, so that battery for all the sensors we have connected show the % left on each or just on selected ones. Or showing a battery icon on side of the already connected sensors list... it will be useful, today we have too much batteries on bikes.
And thanks in advance for your great support!

Hi Ruben, Thanks for sharing your suggestions with us.
On the older software build's we used to show the percentage of the battery of the sensors under the sensor info. Later after though check and from feedback, we found that the information shown was not accurate accurately, which used to cause confusion. So, we had to remove it and the team is working on implementing this in a better way and more accurate. -
It would be nice to have a sticky somewhere consolidating discussions of battery % displays. It would engage a lot of folks.
It might address questions like:
Is Battery reporting a part of the BT/ANT+ communication from the device or K1.
Is % calculated and how?
Does voltage = % charge, does it vary by type of cell or cell composition?
Is % more a cartoonish Red/Yellow/Green/Hi/Low "zone" monitoring than accurate linear representation?
Do you recommend a sideloaded android app for battery management of the K1, power cosumption of the K1 and/or sensors?
The K1 has a big battery, but it has been know to behave in a, um, nonlinear fashion, and it would be nice to track what features are using what power, for better power management, set up , trip planning and recharging and consideration of external power.
