Karoo 2 phone tethering

Hi As you can tether your phone to the Karoo 2 will it allow you to pass music through. I use a AfterShokz headset for spacial awareness and it would be good if I could BT connect to the Karoo 2 and listen to both my music and course directions? Cheers Paul

  Hi Paul, As of now, we are unable to make any official comments on this. As per the current implementation, the usage is limited to the call and text notification but we may explore more functionalities in the future.

  Hammerhead -- This would be a killer feature. Please have your product roadmap team give it serious consideration.
  Use case: I want to be able to listen to music from my iPhone AND hear alerts (Varia etc.) from my Karoo 2 AT THE SAME TIME, ON THE SAME DEVICE (which does not support two active connections, e.g. Apple AirPods).

  Hi George, thanks for sharing your thoughts. One solution to this is to install a music app on the Karoo 2 and then connecting your Airpods to Karoo for both music and the alerts.

  Just install a musicplayer on the Karoo itself. Problem solved.
  You need of course the songs on your Karoo.
