Blank / black screen
Answered-
I am sorry to hear about the confusion with the new battery endurance mode. The battery save mode is introduced to save the charge when users are using the Karoo for a very long ride. You have the option to disable the battery save mode. You can do that by going to Settings -> Battery Save ->toggle to disable

Ok, thank you. It was indeed on. Isn't there a warning, or maybe there should be. The ride was 4-4.5 hours tops, so would have lasted fine I'd hope. Maybe there's a way of letting people know that this mode is enabled, for instance, an all day route, or a route lasting more than x hours, when that route is chosen the screen prompts, enable battery saving mode? ( unit goes live for 3 mins or at turns - help text)). At the moment my feedback is the 'live' view is too short for me to scroll to see distance, other screens, effort or any averages, maybe a longer live glimpse might be good, or a screen prompt, 'back to battery save mode?'). Part of the reason for having the unit is to monitor effort, distance, HR or power averages etc ON a long ride, so maybe just create a battery save screen, especially for battery save mode, that shows turn, upcoming gradient, average effort HR, Power, calories consumed, distance to go and time of day, that would be very useful
