Glitches and now total stoppage

The display started flicking between screens without any input and then the unit would turn itself off then back on again. The touchscreen got less and less responsive and now doesn’t work . I did a hard reset thinking it would clear everything and now when it gets to the opening screen it won’t go any further. When it gets to the log in screen (on it’s own) it won’t let me put any details into the email box, then it starts to fill the password box with random characters. If left for about 10 minutes it flickers about onto different screens and randomly switches areas off and on. I can’t get anything to work now, even though I left the battery to go completely flat to try to reset that as well! Please help as I love this unit and am expecting the arrival of my Karoo2 for the trade in deal real soon!!
