Dashboard sync to strava & trainingpeaks problems
AnsweredHi, don't know if this is a bug, but I have some routes on my dashboard that are not showing the icon "synced" to strava or trainingpeaks. When I try "sync to" option, starts to sync but then I see this error on the web:

The routes are already on my strava and trainingpeaks accounts, but for some reason hammerhead dashboard is not aware of that.

Hi Ruben, I am sorry to hear about the concern uploading your ride with Strava and Training peak.
The 'Other error' message usually pops up when the Activity does not have any map data to load on the Dashboard. Could you please confirm if this is the case or not?
If not, please share the FIT file of the relevant activity? In this way, we will be able to look further into the issue. -
The one from nov-21 with 128.1km, got uploaded from karoo directly to strava and trainingpeaks, is already there on my other accounts, but on hammerhead dashboard, is not showing as uploaded.

Don't know why it is showing as not uploaded from hammerhead dashboard. Have some others with the same problem. It is not a big problem, but I don't know if there is a problem on the dashboard not showing the route is already synced.

Hi Ruben, Any Activities/Routes on the Karoo will automatically get synced to the Dashboard.
Please make sure, that you are logged into the Hammerhead Dashboard and the hammerhead account on the Karoo, using the same username/password, you used on the Dashboard.
If you have already logged into it, I would recommend you to logout from the Dashboard and the Hammerhead account on the Karoo and re-log back in again.
Kindly make sure you have an active Internet connection on your Karoo. -

thanks for your support. I have the same account on dashboard and on my karoo1 and karoo2. Today the same thing, 3 rides today, 2 showing synced ok, but last not showing synced with strava (when it is already synced). I received the notification on my karoo2 unit when I finished the ride, that all 3 rides where synced with all 3 services, but on dashboard the third is showing as not synced.

Please let me know if you need any other information I can send you to look into this. I don't know if this is happening to other users too.

Hi Ashish and Ruben,
Reached out to Hammerhead yesterday (ID 50174) concerning the same problem with the same Error message. Rode two(2) rides and the recorded FIT files are present on Karoo 2, however will not synch with the Dashboard, Strava and TrainingPeaks.
Can you please help me out?

@Ruben, @Pieter: Sorry to hear about the persistent issue with the ride upload on the Dashboard and third-party applications.
I am not sure if you have performed this workaround. If not could you please follow these steps to see if that helps:
Step 1: Logout of the Hammerhead account on the Karoo.
Step 2: Power off the Karoo completely.
Step 3: Close the Dashboard completely and log in to the Hammerhead Dashboard on Incognito mode or private browsing.
Step 4: Disconnect Strava from connected Services and connect to Strava again.
Step 5: Agree to the Strava new token Authentication.
Step 6: Power ON the Karoo and login to your hammerhead account.If you have already performed these steps, could you please confirm if the activity upload mode is selected as Automatic or Manual? Also, it would be great if you can send us an email with the issue on our official email address support@hammerhead.io.
We certainly would like to deep dive into this issue.
