    Hey Juhan.

Unfortunately, we do not manufacture mounts compatible with GoPro yet.

The team at Hammerhead has developed a new bracket design for Karoo 2 that we feel is truly best in class and represents the future of bracket technology. However, as cyclists, we realize that our customers may have custom mounts, multiple bikes, or other mount restrictions. To assure your Karoo 2 is backwards compatible, we will include a Quarter-turn adapter that fits on all Garmin compatible mounts.

@Juhan,  This was an important feature for me as well as I use the go pro mount under my current K edge mount for a front light.  This is great for riding in traffic.  Here's my "hack" that I feel is pretty good solution until others come on board with the new mount style.  I saw other options but the new mount is an improvement over the garmin standard and didn't want to a modification.  My solution was to use the k edge go pro adaptor and I believe 12 mm long bevel M3 screw.  Nice and and solid and doesn't impact he hammerhead design.

This looks like a good solution, Paul, and I'll be doing this mod to my Hammerhead mount. Off to look for some M3 stainless steel screws now...

My only concern is whether or not the new mount is capable of carrying the additional weight of a front light (especially the heavier ones like an Exposure Strada, for example).

The plastic of the new mount feels quite brittle in comparison to the Karoo 1 mount.

    Thanks for sharing!

@Steve,  I'm using a Lights and Motion Urban so its not really that heavy and have seen no movement of the Karoo2 mount.  Rock solid.  I used locktite on the screws as well just to provide peace of mind.

I would prefer a metal K-Edge but may need to wait for that one.  I've seen the other adaptions to existing K-edges but not liking how they snap in piece mates up with the mount.  I may 3D print something to better integrate the two.

I think what you have is a good solution, Paul.

I've just ordered some A4 stainless steel countersunk M3 12mm hex screws and I'll order the K-Edge GoPro mount tomorrow. I'll be fitting a Lezyne Macro Drive 1100XL front light to it, with a GoPro mount instead of that awful rubber contraption was never designed to fit 31.8mm handlebars.

Photos to follow sometime next week...

We got a 3D printer over the holidays and I found two items on Thingiverse that have worked well so far (2 rides) for my new Karoo mount and older Bontrager iON 700 light. I had a Barfly-branded GoPro adapter previously, but the screw holes were in the wrong places.

I make no warranty (expressed or implied) that these are a long-term solution. Depending on your print medium and the quality of the job and/or material, it may work fine. I'm OK hooking my older and already beat up light to it. Not sure I'd reliably sling a $300 GoPro under, but time will tell.

Where did you get the 12mm screws from?
