Dashboard - Route Direction Arrows - Elevation Profile

I'm looking forward to receiving my pre-ordered K2 in a few weeks. While getting ready, I have been syncing routes from my RWGPS account to my HH Dashboard. The process works great!

1) When reviewing a route on the Dashboard, the route does not display direction arrows. In a route with the same start and finish location, it is not possible to see which way to begin when reviewing and editing a route on the Dashboard. The direction arrows do appear when I review the route on RWGPS. They are just not there on the Dashboard's version of the sync'ed route.

2) Is there a way to see the elevation profile of a route in the Dashboard? If not, is this a feature that is on the future enhancement list?

  Hey Tom.

  1. I appreciate you for sharing your feedback on the direction arrows for the closed-loop route on the Dashboard. I have made note of this to take this to our Product team. We will certainly look into this.

  2. You can certainly see the elevation graph for the route on the Dashboard. Here are the steps you can follow -

  a. Login to your Hammerhead account on the Dashboard
  b. Select your preferred route
  c. Click on the "^" icon on the bottom of the route map page
  d. You will be able to see the variation in the elevation for the selected route

  I appreciate the quick response. Thanks for looking into #1 and for leading me in the right direction for #2.

  Looking forward to riding with the K2 on my bike! Send out the "Your Karoo 2 is ready for delivery" email, already. :-)

  BTW... now that I know where to find the elevation profile, I can figure out the route direction by tracing it on the elevation profile.

  Any chance this can get higher priority? Already has affected me a couple of time where I took off in the wronmg direction on a new route. Garmin just added this for all their Edge x30 units, hint hint 😇

  As usual the most obvious enhancements go nowhere. Or how about adding mile markers, that would also give some indication? Pretty lame as it is.

  Ok, so it's possible to reverse route but the direction to which you are reverting from/to is unknown ???? Hummm well well well... The initial request for this is 3 years old... Let's go guys, I mean we do have the arrows on the unit, sooo??? Not the same code base web and unit ? Oh well, at least you can do this on the unit. ;)

  This has been marked as answered but nothing has been done. What happened to this feature request? Showing waypoint numbers would be a start as at least you could tell which way round the route goes.

  Is there a status or response from HH on the (obvious) feature request to add arrows to Dashboard routes? I’m a new user and evaluating Karoo 2 vs Garmin and would like to know if this is going to be fixed.
