Uploading fit files to Dashboard as of October 2020
AnsweredDo we know have the ability to upload FIT files directly to Dashboard? As of 3 mo ago this was not possible.
Karoo Battery died and lost ride which was retrieved when recharged. Would not upload to Dashboard or Strava.
Obtained File and imported into Strava but not on Dashboard.
How can I import this file and the rest of the ride which I recorded on Ride w GPS? They are both on Strava now.
I want my Pre-Ordered Karoo 2 NOW!! LOL

Hey Mark.
Sorry to hear about your issue where the Karoo shut its own abruptly and the ride was not uploaded on the Dashboard. Once the Karoo shuts down in the middle of the ride, the FIT file either corrupts or fails to capture the complete components of the ride. Due to this, the ride will not get uploaded on Dashbaord automatically though it shows up on the Karoo.
We would recommend you to upload this ride manually to Strava, so you don't lose a record of this ride. However, it can not go on the Dashboard.
Please follow the below steps to upload the file to Strava.
1) Please download the FIT file of your ride, which you had concern syncing with Strava.
2) On Strava application on your computer, click on "+", and "Upload Activity".
3)Browse for this FIT file and "Save & View".
This should upload the Activity to Strava.
The first Karoo 2 pre-orders are on track to begin shipping in late October with later pre-orders going out in November and December. Our team is working around the clock to hit the hardware milestones required to make this happen.
