power save, auto pause

Today I did a ride with my karoo 2, Never had this problem with Karoo1
I was trying out the battery save function , had auto pause on, was finishing up a 30 mie ride, stopped for a coffee, probabbly 20 minutes, when I left to go, the karoo2 opened up on the home page, acting like it was a new ride, I looked for the current ride,, it had vanished, there was no new rides in my rides folder, my routes folder.. it was gone.
when I finished my ride, I only had one new ride listed, the 4 miles from the coffee shop to my car.
what exactly happened? Can I not have battery save on when stopping for coffee. do I need to change settings, is there an auto save function when it wants to power down?

Hey William. I can understand how frustrating it would have been for you to lose your riding data.
It is quite surprising to hear about this issue. I tried to replicate the same on my Karoo but was unable to see the new ride after the pause of 20 minutes. I was still on the old ride after a pause of more than 20 minutes.
I am not sure if you have experienced this on all the rides after this occurrence. Could you confirm this? Also, could you please try to see if you can find the FIT file of the previous ride (ride till coffee stop) when you connect your Karoo to your laptop?
