Factory Reset On Power Up - Karoo 2
AnsweredI have just experienced the oddest thing.
I booted up my Karoo 2 for the commute home, when it powered up it showed some text in really small font in the centre of the screen.
I could not see what it said.
Then it went to a second screen - at the bottom it showed the word “erasing” and nothing else.
A few seconds later it went off this screen and re-booted.
It presented itself as a new unit. I had to log back in to my hammerhead account before I could track my ride.
All of the sensors had removed themselves, but the bluetooth link to my phone was still present and operating as expected.
Wifi and cellular had also been deleted.
My debugging is turned off so there will jot be a bug report. I will turn it on when I’ve finished setting the unit back up.

Hi Phil, I am sorry to hear about the concern with the Karoo 2. There was an outage with the AWS account, which affected multiple accounts and services and similar to several other companies who are dependent on AWS servers as well. The issue has been taken care and everything is back to normal.
