Custom Data Page with Climb Fields Conditional Activation

Now that we can create a custom climb data page, it would be great if the page only shows when on a climb since the fields don’t work off climb.

  This would be amazing!! If you can give us conditions so extensions can also create customer temporary pages that would be super cool. Imagine like 5 minutes post Lap you have a workout analysis page that you can set up with lap HR/Power graphs etc.

  That concept sounds like a bad idea, custom climb data page disappeares while climbing, just because it is not a categorized climb? Please don't do it.

  @No Sports  Tell me, what good is a climb page when data fields like the climb chart, distance to top and elevation to top do not work when you are not on a climb? It becomes a useless page to scroll through during a ride. I change my pages frequently using the bonus buttons on the new SRAM red group set and this page just means one more click when not on a climb. I don't need to see a page where the data field tells me I am not on a climb.

  I think the idea is that it would be configurable, if you don't want a page to disappear then you would set it to be a normal page, not a conditional one

  @Chase Pinkerton  Yes, by conditional my thought was that I can control the conditions when the page appears.

  Disappearing profile pages are a bad idea, as users can always click to the next page. Implementing logic for optional disappearing profile pages—I'm doubtful that will be a high-priority task.

  It is no different than the climber draw appearing only on a climb....except the climber drawer is not customizable and I prefer to have the items I like to monitor while climbing on a single page. My idea is not new but it is taking already existing logic and making it more useful. I go back to my earlier statement, why show a screen where the fields only work on a climb?

  I use the climber graphic on multiple profile pages with diferent data fields and would not be very happy if all of a sudden these pages disappeared simply because I am not on a categorised climb.

  You are really missing the point and only focused on what would be good for you. I don’t understand why you keep responding with the same comment over and over. I said having the OPTION to set a screen to be conditional. Optional means you can have it show all the time OR only on a climb. 
  
  

  How does the climber graphic work for you when you are not on a climb? Oh yeah, it doesn’t work and takes up space to remind you that you are not on a climb.
