Hammerhead Heart Rate Monitor Not Syncing

Thank you for any support you can provide.

I have the newest Hammerhead Karoo and heart rate monitor. I am finding it very temperamental and have recently stopped pairing. Do you have any suggestions?

What I have done:

- removed and replaced the battery

- deleted the monitor from the Karoo

- tried to reconnect only through Ant+, but it never found it

- tried Bluetooh etc, same result

  @Scott Is it 'newest' and / or 'new'?

  Sweat salt hinders the functioning of the belt. You should rinse the belt regularly with water.

  First of all, thank you for taking the tip to comment. Truly appreciated.

  I will wash the strap and see if that helps. In re to testing, I have been testing with the strap off and me touching the snaps but haven't seen any lights blink.

  @Scott
  What also can help is to make the sensor pads on the strip slightly wet, just a dab of water from the tap, before putting it on. Thereafter, I see the left and right lights sequentially flashing. By doing this, I never have a problem syncing to my Karoo2.
