No distance on Fazua Ride60
I recently bought an E-Bike with Fazua Ride60 motor. It pairs with my Karoo2 with no problems, it does see the battery level, cadence, speed and power OK. However when using e-bike as a speed source it doesn't record any distance. When I disable e-bike speed source then the distance is shown OK. I'd rather have speed from the bike's sensor rather than GPS, I often ride in urban settings or forests where GPS can be wobbly.
Also, on my old bike with CAD/SPD sensor I could set the wheel circumference for speed sensor, but no such option for the ebike.
Is it a bug with Fazua motor integration?

I d like to know how you did that ? pairing the Fazua with the Karoo and be able to see the speed/cadence/uphill ?
When I paired it the speed was wrong, and it recorded 1.86km for 680m uphill :Dso right now i would just unpair it and use it in standalone
too bad I thought I could see my battery level, and other usefull intel

I paired it without problems via Ant+ and it displays speed (from the sensor on the rear brake disc), cadence (from the cadence sensor in the motor), battery level, assistance level (though it shows as 0, 1, 4 and 7 for whatever reason), power and power distribution (rider vs. motor). It doesn't show estimated range, but I don't mind this that much. My main problem is that when it's set to take the speed source from the bike, it doesn't record any distance but it does record a GPS line. In the FIT file I have incremental time and GPS coordinates, but the distance is 0.

Hey all, Thanks for posting!
The Karoo 2 and the Karoo are compatible with motors that broadcast via ANT+LEV (Light Electric Vehicle) protocol. As per my understanding, the Ride 60 motor is ANT+ compatible; however, it does not broadcast in ANT+LEV, and therefore a lot of the e-bike datasets might not be streamed and read properly on the Karoo OS.
I hope this clarifies!

I don't think I understand. If the motor is reporting speed, that it calculates internally, why the K2 can't turn speed x time into distance?
Additionally, best to my knowledge (based on information on Fazua website and information on other bike computers, Sigma for example), the Ride60 motor is ANT+ LEV compatible.
For me this looks like a bug on the K2's side.
And just for clarity, both the motor and my K2 are running latest firmware available.

Hi Krysztof,
Thanks for the clarification! My apologies—the Ride 60 is indeed ANT+LEV compatible. Sorry for the incorrect response earlier. We would love to investigate your issue a bit further. Could you please drop a ticket to us with your observations at support@hammerhead.io so we can assist you further?
