Reasons not to buy a Karoo3
Hopefully this isn't a double post - something odd happened the first time I tried to post this.
1. The auto-zoom level when approaching an intersection is much too coarse. The only way to zoom in further at the time is using a touchscreen gesture; not even a press of the lower left button will zoom in further (for further info see https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/community/posts/37231779951259-Karoo-OS-Zoom-auto-on-Map?flash_digest=bdf49428fdcc25ffb651b824b089b35fc87865f4)
2. Laneways (narrow bike paths) are shown on the map as a thick dash dark grey line on a light grey background. This is terrible. My wife uses a Garmin Edge 530, and the same laneways on this device are obvious.
3. The buttons buzz. The only fix I'm aware of is to buy a Tuf-Luv cover, which does make the already large unit noticeably larger and less sleek (for further info see https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/community/posts/37117045989787-Noise-of-headunit-buzzing).
4. There's a lot of yellow used in the user interface for both the unit and the web interface. I'd like some choice for the colours used for the route and re-route on the map at least. Yellow wouldn't be my preference.
If (1) and (2) above aren't rectified soon, I'll be selling my unit. They utterly ruin this bike computer. It'd be shame for them not to be rectified since they're simply software choices made by the developers.

Zwift integration still not available, meaning it is the only one of the big three not doing this.
The terrible field customisation that comes on as soon as it rains on the unit.
The fact that you cannot manually pause when there is an overlay on screen even though there is a physical button that is ignored.
I'm still on K2 , K3 seems like a meh upgrade. Will see if K4 or something else is better
