battery save mode turns off

when turning on battery save mode manually during a ride, as soon as the display turns on again battery save mode turns off automatically.

  My karoo 2 does this all the time. I can turn it on upto 20 x during a 100 mile ride. Very frustrating. Even locking the screen doesn't stop the battery saver mode turning off. Very frustrating at night ,the bright screen is distracting when it keeps turning itself on. Sort it out software guys!
