temperature off between 3 hammer head units on the same ride

I have a Karoo 3

my Wife and best friend still have the Karoo 2

this happens all the time.

Wednesday night I shower 62 degrees

Wife shower 67 degres

Best friend showed 64 degrees.

where does the unit receive the temp info. Could it be that I need to verify the altitude on all 3 devices and set the to match as I would assume that it pulls the temp info from the built in barometer which surly uses altitude?
