Crash Replacement very disappointed

Hi,

I had a crash and my Karoo2 still under warranty is broken.

I asked about the crash replacement from Hammerhead which they advertise as a marketing argument, and I'm very disappoint, it's worth nothing.

I bought the device in Dec 2023 direct here in the Hammerhead shop for 250€, now they ask 200€ for replacing it with an outdated refurbished Karoo2.

Replacing with an up to date Karoo3 would be ~350€, which is the street price for a new Karoo3 in Germany.

Somehow this sucks.

I think I will switch to Garmin, because there I can get a better Battery liftime with the solar models.
