Feature Request: Add Support for Intermediate Waypoints with ETA Calculation
Hi everyone,
I’d love to see the option to add intermediate waypoints within a planned route on the Karoo 3.
The idea would be that for each waypoint, the distance and estimated time of arrival (ETA) could be calculated — not just for the final destination. This would make it possible to estimate arrival times at key points along the route while riding, without having to create and load multiple separate routes.
It would also be very useful for Live Tracking, so that friends, family, or even group ride participants can see when you’re expected to reach a certain checkpoint or meeting point and plan accordingly.
I think this feature would make navigation and ride planning even more flexible and practical, especially for longer rides or group events.
Would love to hear what others think — and whether Hammerhead might consider adding this in a future update!

Great idea, but first Hammerhead really needs to fix the basic ETA calculation itself!
Right now, the main ETA engine completely breaks down after 5-10 minutes into a ride (dropping the ETA to a few minutes even with 20km left, then just adding 1 minute per real minute).
Adding intermediate waypoints with ETAs would be awesome for pacing and refuel stops, but only once they fix the core algorithm!
