Android Pixel watch heart rate pairing.

When pairing the pixel watch 4 for heart rate on the Karoo 3 it works the first time but when trying to reconnect for a ride the next day or if you turn off the  Karoo 3 it won't recogngnice the watch and I have to start the pairing process allover.  I don't think is a google pixel watch issue because when i use Zwift on my computer or tablet it pairs automatically without any problems. Can some one help with this issue please.

  I have the same issue, karoo 3 and pixel watch 4. Every ride I have to delete the HR sensor on the karoo and add it again. No way to reuse the same sensor automatically.

  Update: I found a way to avoid having to delete and re-add the HR sensor on karoo every time. The trick for me was to allow the karoo to be saved on the pixel watch in "Connected Fitness" -> "Saved". Once I got it to show up there under saved devices, the main problem was solved. Now I only have to start the karoo, then start the HR sharing on the watch, and it connects automatically. 
  
  To get the PW to save the karoo in connected fitness, I did the following:

  1. on the karoo, go to settings -> Bluetooth Audio. Choose pair new device
  2. on the pixel watch, go to settings -> connectivity -> bluetooth. Choose pair new device
  3. allow the PW to find and connect to the karoo. Enable the pairing when prompted on the watch.
  4. Once step 3 is successful, go to karoo sensors.
  5. Delete any existing pixel watch HR sensor.
  6. On the PW, start HR sharing from connected fitness (click "connect").
  7. On the karoo add new sensor. Find the pixel watch HR sensor and add it.
  8. When the connection is established on the PW, make sure "save to devices" is now available, shows the karoo device, and is selected. 
  9. Now the karoo should show up under "saved" on the PW; mine was called "Karoo BT Audio"

  From that point onward it should work much better. Just remember to start HR sharing from the PW when the karoo is turned on for a ride.

  Thank you so much for posting this D Fel! I had been getting disconnected multiple times on a couple hour ride and having to go through a very slow process to re-connect them. Today it paired right up as soon as I started HR sharing from the watch, and stayed connected the whole time. Afterward I even tested walking far enough away from the Karoo so that it disconnected, and when I came back in range it connected right back up without any action from me.
