Minor Map Issues

I have been using the Karoo for several months now and I really like it. On the map screen/page, though, there are two things that are bugging me a bit:

1. the scale on the right is hard to read (while riding), because the numbers are pretty tiny and the contrast is low. There is like a 1px white frame around the black scale and numbers, but this doesn't offset the scale sufficiently for me on the map. My suggestion would be to increase the font size (and use a single number instead of two) and improve the contrast (maybe have white background instead of the small frame).

2. The cursor does not show the right direction when not moving (I think it points north). I read that the Karoo does not have a compass, so I would suggest that the Karoo simply remembers/retains the last heading when coming to a stop. The current behavior tricked my several times into going the wrong direction when looking up my position after a stop.

  2. The Karoo has a compass (magnetometer), but it is not yet implemented in the software (no map orientation to magnetic north when stationary, and no compass data field).

  Thanks for the info, Gustavo. Nice to know. Would we nice if the compass were implemented or at least the device would use the last heading (instead of showing north).

  That's great, but my request is to have the cursor / location marker point **on the map** in the right direction when stopping. Currently, it's jumping/turning to north when you stop.
