Anyone having issues with wahoo hr since new update doesn't seem to work for alittle then connects but not sure it's correct

  Hey Daniel. Sorry to hear about the issue with the Wahoo Heart rate monitor.

  This issue maybe because of the following reasons:

  1. due to Karoo not being able to receive and process the ANT+ connection request
  2. low on battery on the sensor
  3. sensor awaiting any firmware update

  Could you please check these and write back to us at support@hammerhead.io. Also, mention the Serial number of your unit. If the issue still persists, we will follow with further troubleshooting steps to ensure the issue with the sensor connectivity is resolved.

  I dont think its just Wahoo.  In March 2021 when my Karoo 2 was just out the box it worked fine with a Magene HR monitor in Ant+ comms protocol.  Now, that is not the case, and I have changed the battery.

  I am riding solo so no interference. Not sure why this is persisting but it seems to be related to software. Not distracting from my overall experience too much - just a bit of a pain.

  Yeah mines litually worked fine since March too then it was most recent update checked hr firmware it's fine and batt is fine like u say its a pain just training for an event which is unhelpful but so far it's the only Issue that iv had with the unit so can't complain

  Daniel - thought it worth letting you know that I decided to test the HRM linked to my iPhone and the Strava app.  Didnt take the Karoo2 out on the bike, and had the SAME problem.  Its obv an HRM issue in my case.  Might be worth trying it to rule it out.  I have found a couple of videos on YouTube related to problems with the Magene HR64 transmitter that suggest a problem with the strap design - its not the same as the Wahoo unit.

  Cheers I checked firmware it's up to date. I replaced the battery. But still have an issue seems to be for about 2 miles then my hr goes up alittle on the device but I know its not the numbers its still too low, tried adjusting the strap tighter just seems t make me boldge lol iv emailed hammerhead now was all working fine before this update couple weeks back I have a wahoo tickr
