Sensors lagging with latest update

Have ridden twice since the last firmware update and am finding that my Cadence sensor and Varia radar are both lagging. Anyone else experiencing lag?

  Yes but this was happening before the latest update for me.

  Vaira is basically useless at the moment and IMHO dangerous.

  • Alert when the car is next to me or very close (delayed).
  • Number of cars wrong.
  • If there is an alert distance displayed is misleading.

  Went back to my garmin to test and its perfect. Alerts as soon as car is there 100+ meters back, car count is correct and they pass when the display shows they will pass.

  Agree about the Varia. It was working well (though not as aggressive as the Roam) before the update but now not alerting to oncoming cars until they are next to me or in some cases not at all. Also agree very dangerous. Am planning to reset the Varia and unpair/repair it and see if that helps.

  I have applied the update and my Varia is still working as it should.  It is an old one - the RTL 500 model.  The alert occurs as soon as the radar spots it, and the traffic strip is accurate in terms on number of cars and position.

  @Jeff - same here.  No issue with RTL 500 Varia
