Speed Shown Increases When Pedaling Stops

This is an issue that I also noticed on Karoo 1. Speed shown on the display seems to be correct when I pedal, but increases when I stop pedaling. I use a Garmin speed sensor mounted to the rear hub. The speed increase shown can sometimes be quite dramatic - I think I've shown as high as 80mph on the display going downhill but, at best, I was going 40mph. This also seems to result in a distance increase vs. what Strava would show for the same ride. I do keep current on all of the updates. When I do stop, the speed shown on Karoo will go to zero.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

I would like to investigate this issue further. Riding downhill and the display shows the speed of 80 mph is something that is erratic. Could you please share the FIT file of the ride where you have faced this issue? Please send us on support@hammerhead.io.
