Karoo 2 reseted during ride

I had the uncomfortable experience that my device reset while cycling. When the device restarted, the file recovery process began. Waited and when the procedure was over I started a new workout again. It's a problem because 30 km somehow disappeared of the 102 km cycled, only 70 are visible after the recovery file proces. After the workout, I merged both files and the result looks so miserable. Can i do anything. I really need full track. Please, any advice is welcome.

  Sorry to hear that your ride did not record completely on the Karoo, I would love to help you out here. 

  You can find the FIT files of the ride in the internal storage of the Karoo. You can follow these articles:

  I would urge you to look for the file by filtering out the date/ time of the abrupt shutdown. You might find the file in the temp files folder. You can use various FIT tools online to combine it with your main FIT file of the ride.

  Was the Karoo low on battery before the crash or did the unit reset after a button/ touch input?

  This happened to me today.  K2 reset itself and did not recover the ride.  I tried merging my files as well and also have a super straight line and lost about 20 miles which is very strange since the reset and restart was only a few minutes ... more like a mile maybe at most in time.
