    Just tried it: Nope.
    The math behind it is just too complicated I suppose.

    Really don’t understand this. Gps says, you ride x km, speed sensor says, your wheel did y rotations. x/y is wheel circumference.
    No?

    Comment 'Just tried it: Nope' is too little info. Could be brand related 🕵️

    Read the article 'Known Bugs and Issues':

    I am using a Magene speed sensor. On my Garmin it auto-calibrates to a wheel circumference of 2096mm (which seems to fit quite well), the Karoo says that it's 2220mm. Before as well as after the update.
    But I did post this info before on this forum, and my comment "Nope" was absolutely adequate to answer the OPs question: No, this issue has obviously not been worked on.

    Hi Malte,

    Read the article 'Known Bugs and Issues' about speed sensor issue;

    The issue is more prominent on some specific brands of sensors. We are collecting more information to find the root cause or any related pattern. Please share the details of your setup on this form “Auto-wheel circumference inaccuracies”. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfWU6OJBl68-5ush6netTcnWIetVvqJXdxTV2I5L7nGCVxs2w/viewform

    As of now, use a manual calibration for more accurate distance calculation.
