Not getting grouped with other riders on strava

Everytime I upload my ride to strava, I never get grouped with other riders. I assure you it's not a strava issue.

Yes, we all started/stopped at the same spot. 

Checked my privacy, everything has always been set to "everyone". I had the feeling that the issue was potentially from the karoo 2 so on my next ride, I recorded with my phone instead. (also never had this issue with Wahoo Bolt) Low and behold, I got grouped from uploading from my phone.

How do I fix this? Yes, I have the latest update installed.

  Hi, I have no issues with this. Whenever riding in a group, it shows so in Strava after uploading the ride.

  i have this same issue.  i wear a garmin watch and obviously run the Karoo 2.  start both at the same time.  if i upload the garmin data, i get grouped with everyone else.  if i upload the Karoo 2, i do not get grouped with anyone else. 

   

  all other variables are exactly the same.  there is nothing other than the Karoo 2 that explains the discrepancy.

  @bowers I figured out the issue. The time on my Karoo wasn't set to sync with my phone. It was 3mins behind. Not very noticeable but clearly made a huge difference. I set the time to autosync and that fixed the issue.
