fit file corrupt - wont upload to Strava and TrainingsPeak.

After a nice 40/20 session I looked forward sharing my efforts with my coach - but the activity wont transfer to Strava and TrainingsPeak.

On the dashboard site (browser) I get the message that "Route View is only available for rides with GPS data"

On the unit I everything looks ok - with map view and sensor data (power and HR)
I tried downloading the fit file and upload it manually, but the message is that the
"The upload appears to be malformed and we are unable to process it."

The fit file is 199 kb so there is data in it. I have tried various fit file tools but nothing has worked so far.
I have been bragging about this new device to my coach, so pretty embarrassing that it fails on my 5 ride :-(

  Yes, I saw that bug - and I'm hoping support can edit my file so I can upload it.
  Been riding with my old Garmin as backup ever since this my activity didn't upload.

  I'm having the same issue. On the device it shows the route and elevation I took, but the dashboard is failing and syncing with Strava / Komoot / Trainingpeaks fails, but Ride With GPS worked fine (and I can see location/elevation there too).

  I tried to open the `.fit` file in GPXSee and it shows an "undefined Data Message" error. I was able to "recover" my activity for upload to Strava / TP / Komoot by going to RWGPS and downloading my activity as a `.tcx`file.

  Seems RWGPS has a more robust parser that was able to ignore the corruption in the `.fit` file generated by my Karoo2.

  We do apologize for the inconvenience caused, I have created a ticket under your mail for this concern, Could you please share the FIT file of the ride which did not upload to the dashboard/Strava?

  We are investigating this bug & it would help us if you could reply to the ticket with the requested information :)

  I have the same issue with Karoo 1 for ride that won't upload to strava "The upload appears to be malformed and we are unable to process it." 

  Is there a way to fix the file or is a lost cause?

  Hey Rob, my workaround was to upload to "Ride With GPS", and the download the activity converted into a .tcx file from there.
