Latest software-update is a big regression!

The latest software-update is a big regression (1.233.1071.12):
1: Electronic shifter (SRAM AXS) is lost every time when ride stops. If the stop is more than 5 mins, it doesnt come back until disabling and reenabling sensors. It also doesnt get connected oafter boot of karoo2. Same as before. Dis- and reenable sensors.
2: Manual routing via tapping on screen doesnt work in any way. I mark the starting point where i am: "No internet connection". Adding the point where i want to ride: No internet connection". I tap on the ok: "No internet connection".
No routing occurs. Senseless function! What are the offline maps for? Only occupieing space? Senseless! Second bad thiong is that swiping the map doesnt work, only moving. Lock-symbol was opened before. So i even dont see any street-names. So again a senseless function.
So please revise your "You have to have internet to get a working device, we have no plan to change that!" Without internet i have an expensive doorstopper! What happens whenyou quit? Or your servers quit? Dont tell me that customers are teh most important for you. If you would care, you would make things work even without internet-connection.
Adding a second place where i want to ride when a ride is not terminated, doesnt work even. So i have to terminate riding and have the situation as described at point 2...
3: Routing is worse than before:
So please revise routing! Its the most annoying "feature"...
4: I tried to route to home: I can only swipe to make map smaller, but not bigger. Ok for the search of the home. But then things got strange again... See at the pic:
First of it all: The upper message never disappears. Why? Its senseless. If i tap the red cross, route disappears. hmmm.
Second thing you should see too: Im getting routed this way as you see. Completely senseless. Map should change view at its own, but it never does! So again a senseless feature. I have to swipe the map which results extremely difficult, because i should not tap any of the symbols on the map when swiping: Nor the lock, the compass, the routing-sign... So i have nearly no space to swipe. What a senseless feature! Swiping should work using the whole space.
5: When a ride stops and i dont have internet-connection, the karoo refuses to start completely. I have to reboot to get it working again. The ride then is lost. Really great feature! I am loving it!
6: With that newest update my connection to komoot was shown, but didnt sync. That did before as it should do. I had to disconnect and reconnect again, had to do that 5 or 6 times to get it working again. What a mess to enter 6 times x 2 credentials from hh and komoot. Yes, i know my credentials now without a paper, but i love that feature too! Its so senseless again...
So at least the good things: When i start karoo, BT is enabled again, even when i disabled it in settings. Please revise that.
WIFI is disabled when i want to add a route. Even when it is enabled in settings. You can disable WIFI when the ride starts, but not at the very beginning of adding a route. The most advanced feature i ever have seen! Please revise that.
That should be enough for the moment...

Oh, forgot something important: Make that extremely small grey buttons/signs COLOURED and BIGGER!
The pause/start/end-buttons, to mention just the most important ones.
And the lock red when closed, green when opened. The search-button needs another color too. Without glasses while riding they are not seen.

Sounds like you need a hard reset. Things will be sehr gut afterwards again.

It costs 3 minutes plus you need to download the offline map.
I do a hard reset after every update now, it works

Wow! Thats like saying "Sorry, but our software has an early alpha-state..." I personally feel really angry about the fact that the whole advertising of the karoo2 does not have anything to do with the real product!
So the thing that nearly nothing works without internet/HH-account is a no-go! I will try with a hard reset, but it feels like a big fraud/swindle/whatever, what HH is doing here!
I would give back that piece of ***, but have it now too long, was away from home nearly half a year, so i think i have to live with that thing and hope that they will not quit the next years and hopefully evolve enough to make the relevant things (all) working offline!
Try for yourself: Log off any HH account or make WIFI/NET disable and see that nothing rests what is working!

No, his unit is not faulty, unless mine is too, I'm now using my Roam again, no issues. My K2 would not see my DI2, I hard reset it, added Di2 first etc still drop's out and it looks like the K2 is doing the dropping as my Roam does not do this.
I lost all my side loaded apps and I'm not going through that process at every F./W change, its a poor show tbh, it just needs to work, has so much promise but its not delivering for me anyway.

I've only done one ride with the K2 yet but for "riding home" you need to re-enable the lock to get the actual routing view.

Yes!!! I hate this banner. Why does it need to stay at the top of the screen? It DOESN'T! But then again we can't even delete an activity in the moment if we don't want to save it.
