Feature requests: calories from HR-strap and Autolap

Coming from a garmin 830 edge (where the navigationdirections, (reroute-)speed and screenvisualisation is horrible) I find the TBT navigation on the Karoo is excellent! Good size fonts, clear marking for the directions, quick reroutes, great screen and so on.
But also missing some key functions which in my opinion are somewhat of a dealbreaker and I am really surprised these are not incorporated yet.
Now I do not know if there is a kind of roadmap available for us to see when certain options will be implemented, but I noticed the green “PLANNED” markings at certain posts, so just maybe you could respond to my few suggestions as well and perhaps tell us when and what things are about to be implemented.
The three things I think are really needed to be up to par…
- Calories burned while using a HR-strap
This was an unexpected surprise to me… Really a missed point here; calories burned, to me, is an important point. I tried loading up the ride-data to Runkeeper, but still, no calories indicated. It would be a great motivater for any cyclist I guess.
- Autolap
I’m a big fan of autolap; every 5km I like to know what the duration of the segment is. A truly helpful function in regards to beating the clock. Also this was kind of unexpected to see it missing in the Karoo 2.
- Auto screen change
I’d like to keep an eye on my data without me having to touch the Karoo during the ride. So a very welcome function would be to scroll through the different screens every 5 secs orso and jump back to navigation when a TBT direction pops up.
I’d appreciate any feedback on this from you, Hammerhead. Karoo 2 is a great product in terms of physical build, speed, navigation and readability! Never to return to Garmin orso for that, personally you’d really make my day when I see the above points are implemented as well!
