Navigation by address - support for geo: Intent
I wrote a bit ago about Karoo being pretty good, but it is a huge downer that navigation is quite poor.
However, if the Karoo supports / can be made to support "geo:" Intents.. then the address selection could be made in a sideload app.
So, before I go to all the effort - does it support geo: intents, or can this be added (it would be trivial) .. then a sideloaded app could send the Intent, and the in-built POI navigation could be used.

This would actually be perfect.
On my last bikepacking trip I was pretty annoyed by the fact that on the Karoo's map I could see things like shelters or public toilets (if I zoomed close to it), but I could not search or for them or navigate to the nearest one.
Your proposal would solve the issue, although a native solution would still be better and should not be too much work.
