issue with Komoot

Hello,

I recently did a tour with some other people. I recorded the tour with my Karoo 2 device and subsequently saved it to my Komoot account, see:

Someone else in the group also recorded the tour, but used Komoot instead (unfortunately, his recording is only visible to participants, so I cannot link to it here).

There was a striking difference in the number of meters climbed and descended:

If I look at the the recording converted from my Karoo 2 my Komoot account says: total up 1.330m, total down 1.350m. The details of the original Karoo 2 recording, however, read: Gain = 494 m and Loss = 517 m.

The Komoot recording made by the other participant says: total up: 480 m, total down 500 m.

Apparently, something went wrong in the process of transferring/converting the Karoo ride to my Komoot account. Anyone having the same issue?
