Is my device not ok or is Karoo software slow?

    53 seconds would seem to be normal. Anything between 50 and 60 seconds seems normal.

    I doubt there is anything else you can do other than turn it on at least 60 seconds before you want to ride.

    The last software update claimed to have shaved off 10 seconds to the start time. Maybe there are further optimisations that HH can make here.

    The underlying operating system is based on Android, which takes some time to boot. My older Wahoo Roam is marginally faster at startup. With both devices, it is important to start them outdoors first, so that the GPS accuracy (calibration) is more accurate. Therefore, I attach the computer to the bike first and then start it. In the meantime, I then get the rest ready before I ride off....
