Karoo 2 maps road name ahead
Hi HH team,
During my last adventure on mostly unknown roads, I noted that the maps doesn't show the next (perpendicular to direction of travel) "road name ahead" at the top of the screen.
I'm only referring to maps when you are not Navigating.
Otherwise you have to zoom in whilst riding or even worse...stop ;) ha
Perhaps this already a function, or maybe it's not for a very good reason.
Either way, I find it has been a very useful function on other devices in the past.

Maybe my imagination is lacking but what exactly is the use-case here?
The intersection between "knowing an area well enough that upcoming perpendicular road name is something you can act on" and "knowing an area poorly enough that you can't tell this from the look of the map" and "knowing the area well enough to not be using route nav" strikes me as... niche. Like, really niche.Don't get me wrong it'd be a cool feature, but certainly not one I'd prioritize above... well, literally almost everything else.

I agree with you, your imagination is definitely lacking, Joel. Yet here you are using it in all its limited glory to write a condescending comment in a community forum. Keep riding champ, don’t look back…and find another hobby.

Sorry if my tone came off as condescending, I was just stating my opinion. Proposals here, and how they are received by others, has at least some minor impact on development priorities. So to me it makes sense to chime in both in agreement and disagreement.
Like you say, it's a community forum. If you want a private channel without others butting in you should probably email HH. Cheers.
