So, how do you know if you're training in the middle of a HR zone or on the edge of another HR zone? Surely you understand - from the decimal place - that 2.6 is an indication that you are just above the midway point of zone 2 and therefore in zone 2?

What Hammerhead have done is correct.

FYI, before it was a decimal it was showing the wrong HR zone altogether so what they've done is definitely an improvement.

due of a long discussion here:

    https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/community/posts/360049127253-Heartrate-zone-no-decimal

Hammerhead has improved this just two firmware updates before to fit this user requests ;-)

I guess I've never seen a training plan that targets a specific part of a HR zone, power yes but not HR.

One suggestion I have that may help all of us is just to make the color in the gauge field between Zone 1 and Zone 2 different. e.g. Zone 1 could be white, Zone 2 green. This would allow those of us who are targeting a specific zone could quickly glance down and see what color we are in by color. Right now when out on a ride and dealing with the glare of the sun Zone 1 and Zone 2 look like the same green.
