Really? Ha. Definitely not intuitive. It should be an option when you swipe down from the top of the screen. Thanks!

Well, pressing both upper buttons didn't do what I wanted. I want to be able to CHOOSE a stored route on the Karoo for navigation DURING an active ride. What I saw is (A) if I am currently doing a ride with navigation, I can scroll through 3 different pages of information or (B) if I am not doing a ride with navigation it shows some lap information. What I am not seeing is for (A) a way to END the navigation BUT continue the ride or (B) a way to choose a route during a ride and begin navigation. Hammerhead still has some work today with the UI. Right now, it SEEMs that the UI requires the user to end the current ride and start a new ride for starting or stopping navigation.

I'm going back out to try this :). There is a key sentence in the instructions: "The ride does not need to be paused to do this." Regardless, why not add this feature to a mandatory page that is part of all profiles? Having to press multiples buttons at once reminds me of a PC and those types of sequences should be avoided on the head unit.

you are complicating to much :). This is not a everyday operation and still is quick. Two operations. 3 second and you have new route on display

Don't know about the Karoo II but on the 1 you just have to pause the ride to be able to upload a new route with the (+) sign on the map.

It doesn't stop the ride but I think it is better to have both feet on the ground to do it without risk :-)

Thanks for all the answers to my questions! It's a solid device, the screen is great, and being able to wirelessly import routes from Strava/RWGPS is wonderful. I still think the UI needs some work (ie put the features that require multiple button sequences on the screen), but I would recommend the Karoo 2.

Had the chance/need to add a route to a ride today.  It was super easy to start in the middle of the ride and then cancel when when I was done with it, to free ride.

All I did was press the lower right button (the upper two buttons didn't do it, not sure if this has changed or what)  Then in the middle of the screen, between the finish and start buttons (left and right corners) there was an ADD ROUTE + button.  Super easy to add route and then ride from there.  Same to CANCEL!

Thanks HH this was super easy and made working with the K2 Much easier than my previous unit ;)
