Gradient Changes - Time lag?

From experience can anyone advise how quickly the Karoo 2 responds to gradient changes. Thinking about purchasing a unit and was comparing it with the Garmin 1030+, however there is a long running issue with the Garmin over the time lag on the gradient changes ( up to 15 secs) which essentially spoils the Climbpro feature on that device. Curious to know if the Karoo 2 is similarly afflicted and its impact on the Climber feature?

  In my experience the lag is a few seconds at most - its noticeable but it catches on within a reasonable time frame in my option. The climber is a great feature and I don't notice a lag when using this.
