Hi, 

The backlight at 0% is still really bright, is there a way or any plans to make it darker? Or can the screen automatically go to sleep and if I tap the screen it wakes up like a phone?

  At present we do not have the option of making it darker. But I can say you that our team is working on fine-tuning the brightness percentage.
  
  For an option to turn the screen off automatically on the Karoo when inactive for 20 sec, this option works while in battery save mode.

  Hi, same for me. Riding at night on a routing map is way to bright.. The karoo is on dark mode and 0% brightness, but the map is to bright. Everytime I check the route I need some seconds to adapt my eyes to the darkness around again;)

  I solved this issue. What I do is when I go on a night ride, I swap out my Karoo 2 for my Wahoo ELEMENT ROAM. It's obvious no one who works as an engineer at Hammerhead mountain bikes at night. 

  Another option is to forgo all computers and use night mode on an Apple Watch Ultra (all red display). The military has been using red lights for years to save your night vision.
