Yes! 100%. Fix this please! I traded in my Karoo 1 and this is such a huge step backwards vs the original unit.

Hi Jon, thank you for your post.

As of now, the option to turn off the screen has been moved to the Control Center since the change we introduced.

We do understand your request and appreciate the feedback. This will be passed to the product team for consideration. We are always looking for the best balance of simplicity, usability, and real-world feedback. Your voice is valuable to our process.

I want to push this request. One of the only annoying things of k2: I finish a ride and while dismounting accidentally start a new one. That happens like every second time. It would be such an easy update: "if down left & right button pressed then turn screen off. If pressed again turn screen on. " shortest code for happiest customers! Thx.

I agree with this too, it's really frustrating with gloved hands.

I'd also like to see Elevation Calibration moved to somewhere more accessible. I use this a lot, and trying to find it buried in settings is also really frustrating.

I also agree, very unhandy to have to do this in menus and not just with one of the 4 buttons!

I found a solution: install macrodroid. Trigger: user input, swipe. Action: screen off. Simple.

Can this app catch a trigger of pressing a button on the device or just touching the screen? The goal is to turn off the screen without touching the screen, just by pressing a button.

Unfortunately not. That's what Hammerhead should do, but wont.
