Feature Request: Start Ride Confirmation

It would be wonderful if Karoo 2 actually confirmed that we wanted to Start the ride???

My Wahoo Roam would take up the entire screen with big fonts and Flashing text to confirm this is what I wanted to do.

Can't tell you how many times I have accidentally started a ride from an accidental button press.

  Yes! also (like garmin) notice movement and suggest starting a recording if you haven't.

  Hi Chad, and all - I am interested to know if the "Ride not recording" pop up on screen and beeps aren't serving well and what modification you would suggest instead. For this, you do have to be on the ride app, with the loaded profile and data-screens.

  Echoing other users’ comments.

  Karoo2 does *not* show me start ride reminders consistently or at all.

  Once in a while, when first starting a ride, I’ll get the beep if the ride isn’t recording. But it’s one time and not again.

  More troubling is if you’re already midway through a ride and pause to take a break for 10 minutes. When back up and moving again, Karoo2 *does not* automatically start recording always and/or does *not* alert me visually or audibly that I’m 1) moving and 2) the ride isn’t recording.

  This happened today and made me not record 7 miles until I realized it.

  Major bug.

  >> Karoo2 should visually and audibly notify (continuously) to Start recording a ride if you’re MOVING.

  Ali, ride not recording does show and beep with a yellow status bar on the top. But sometimes I find that it is almost invisible, Due to the size and the same alert tones as other notifications.  

  A more ideal notification spot IMHO would be like turn by turn navigation is  (Centered at the bottom with Bigger Fonts)
   
  Stop/cancel Button left side
  Start/Resume Button Right side

  1st Press - Indicate you want to start the ride 

  Have this trigger a notification drawer that slides up and remains until you do a Confirmation or Cancel the action

  2nd Press - Confirm ride start

  On a side note, the Karoo 2 Fonts and background for navigation are the Best In-class of any GPS Head unit by a mile. 
  I would build on that template for the other notifications.

  I like the idea of a more robust notification regarding ride start status as mentioned above with choices to override on screen.

  Maybe also the option to start the recording automatically depend on the speed, like 10km/h - I use them on a Trimm.bike device and works fine. So it is not possible of forgot them and this possibility is an option, so optional for each user of the device.

  Please dont add the Ride Auto-Paused notification like wahoo does. It the worst feature of the wahoo devices. Everytime when I ride slow uphill on a singletrack the notification pops up every very seconds I couldnt see the normal data.
