The option of sending quick responses to incoming calls, surely increases the necessity for crash detection.

    I'm sure for some...

The same case can be made for switching screens, accessing the drag down menus or looking at the amazing map when the K2 prompts a turn ahead no?

Heck reaching for a water bottle or a gel in a jersey pocket, adjusting shoe fit coasting or reaching for the zip on a gilet to get some cool air on a climb... Or zipping it up on the descent 😳

A case can be made for all of them and more I suppose 🤔

Hi Dave, thank you for sharing your view through this post.

We do see a support ticket was raised and your sentiment has been shared with the proper team. The addition of the "Quick responses to phone call notifications" in your feature request list has also been shared and Roald also agrees on that.

We do not have a concrete timeline for these requests to be implemented but looking forward to seeing this as a part of future updates.

I've personally used this option on both my Garmin and Wahoo for years and find it extremely useful when used sensibly and safely (yes there are many situations where it shouldn't be used). What's cool is I (and millions of other users) love having the OPTION to use it or as some have voiced to not use it. That's what having a choice is all about. Not having it as an option at all means there's no choice, right?

I was on a gravel ride recently and watched the guy in front of us run straight into a road sign! I and others stopped to help him get back up and the 1st he said was "darn, I was looking down at the map on my bike computer!". He became a chokepoint on the trail, but he was ok and that's what we were all happy about.

Maybe not having that option to look down or fiddle with anything could be a direction we want to go in, but I'm betting we ALL want that OPTION to make that choice ourselves.

    Stay safe 🙏🏽

Hi Dave, apologies, just re-read your request and yes I do believe quick responses would be good.

Removed my previous comment as I misunderstood the question.
