Distance not recording after stop
AnsweredJust received this as a Christmas present. Distance not recording after stop I have had this problem occur several times. The first time the distance stopped displaying but when I returned home it showed the total distance on the dashboard and on my RWGPS
Customer service told me it was a software issue and I had to perform a hard reset on the device. If the situation persisted they would send me a replacement. It worked fine a few times but just recently while navigating a route it stopped displaying but my speed and the route guidance worked. However it did not record the total the total distance on either my dashboard or RWGPS. Looks like it has to be manually restarted after every length stop.
Customer service told me that would look into it and get back to me. Haven't heard back from anyone.

Hi Wayne, I see Jami responded to you yesterday. I hope the response wasn't missed in your inbox, and please look into your spam folder as well. From what we see on the logs, I don't suspect this to be a software issue or a hardware problem. The manual pause triggers seem to have stopped the recording, during which all the notifications such as TbT, Phone and SLS do show up expected - along with repetitive 'Ride not recording' alerts confirm that the ride was on a pause, and the distance remained recalculated when you uploaded to Dashboard or RWGPS.
I would suggest not to use a manual pause if you are relying on the Auto-pause - or turn OFF the auto-pause if you think - you might prefer pausing the unit, manually.
From your recent response, it may be possible the raindrops could have accidentally hit pause. We suggest turning on the rain lock when riding in rain. Check the article here Rain lock
