I don't ride indoors much, usually only when the weather is hazardous (icy, really windy, etc.). the Karoo has an indoor profile which I use but I find it to be a pain to have to enable/disable the built in gps when switching between indoor and outdoor rides. it would be so nice if you could just set the settings for that indoor profile to automatically disable gps. twice in the last week I've done an indoor ride one day, and the next day I ride outside and forget to enable the gps. Today I rode for 1hr 40min. outside until I realized that I wasn't recording with gps. I was doing a workout so I wasn't on my normal ride screen that showed "searching..." for the data fields that require gps. yes, I know that this is my fault and I should just remember to enable/disable the gps, but other cycling cpu's have this capability, it would be nice to see it added to the Karoo 2.

Just an update on your query:
- We’ve added two new functions to profiles. Now, you can set a profile as Outdoor or Indoor, and Karoo will turn GPS on or off accordingly. You can also set a default bike for each profile, so that tracking mileage on each of your bikes is even easier.

Hi Chad, I understand where you are coming from and this is a fair ask. As of now, the in-built GPS settings and sensors are not linked to Profiles but this is something we are aiming to explore in the future. We are conducting interviews with some users to understand the best way to address these use cases.
