Battery saver mode is disabled when Climber is actively tracking a climb

When battery saver is on and Climber is active and tracking a climb, the screen stays on. Even when the notification tab is minimized so the climb info isn’t visible. This feels like a bug - Climber effectively disables battery saver on long climbs.

Request:

- please keep battery saver on (screen turns off) when tracking a climb. If I want to view the climb I’ll turn the screen on.

- alternatively, keep battery saver on when tracking a climb - but only if the Climber tab is visible e.g. not minimized. This provides the most flexibility - the screen can stay off when you don’t want/need info on a climb, and the screen can stay on - in battery saver mode - when you do.

  Hi Dan, thanks a lot for your request. I will share this with the Product team to give it a thought. On your next ride, can you try to mute the Climber drawer from popping on the screen? It will still be swipable from the bottom of your screen when you need it.

  Hi Ali - how does one mute the Climber drawer? Do you mean to close the drawer?Battery Saver is still disabled when the drawer is closed.

  From https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/articles/4402342943259-Karoo-2-CLIMBER, it looks like it is intentional - but it would be better if closing the drawer enables the screen to turn off when Battery Saver is on.

  Ali - muting the Climber drawer doesn’t change the behavior. Screen still stays on.
