BLE device bonding - Polar H10 FW 4.1.10+

Hello, 
I was working on my app for Karoo 2/3 to monitor my heart data with some custom functionality. It worked as expected. 
However, after updating my Polar H10 HRM to the latest FW 4.1.10, it now requires device bonding to comply with EU RED requirements. Adding HRM as a BLE sensor doesn't solve this. I can see it disconnecting every 30 seconds because the bond was not established. 
When I tried to trigger bonding from the app, it didn't show me a prompt (it works on an Android phone).
Is it something that will be available to developers/users in the future so that we can bond devices to Karoo? As it seems more and more devices will have to do this to comply with new regulations

  I think this is definitely needed going forward.

  When I tried to trigger bonding from the app, it didn't show me a prompt (it works on an Android phone).

  If I remember correctly, I had also tried this at some point, and noticed a log entry on adb by some hammerhead code with something like "not showing bonding prompt because phone is already paired". Looks like they did not think anyone would ever bond a device other than a single phone.
