Hi Samuel, the current development under the collections on the dashboard is driven towards this goal. This is under plans.

What is the goal of the current collection functionality? The only thing I can do is archive routes right? Can't find any documentation about 'collections'.

I think what Ali is trying to say is that it's work in progress. Currently it's not much of a collection with only 'Archive' available but they're probably going to expand on that in the (hopefully near) future.

Thanks, Patrick. That is exactly what I meant.

Two collections at the moment Archive and Favorites
    From Dacshboard:-
Favorite routes are shown before your main route list. This is a good place to keep your most frequently ridden routes.

Did this feature progress any further? I can see the original responses to the work in progress are two years old. I’d get great value from being able to bundle routes together in approx lengths and also for multiple locations, so some means of creating folders.

We're now able to create custom collections which partly meets what I requested here. The thing with collections is that a route will still be visible under 'All Routes' (you can also add a single route to multiple collections).

My pain point is that I have routes for different towns, and it'd be great to 'move' these routes into folders/collections by town name, with the route now being stored there (same as how archive works). This would allow me to tidy up 'All Routes', making it easier to find the route I'm looking for.

How do you go about creating a custom collection? Does that mean you can create multiple custom collections to at least group routes? Its a shame it doesn’t allow for the routes to be tidied though and still leaves them in the main area as it were as I have the same issue with several ride locations.

On the dashboard, select Add > New Collection. From there you can name it and select the routes you'd like to add.

As this request is marked as answered I think we might need to create a new request specific to tidying all routes through collections/folders.
