live tracking dead

hi there.
Iphone 17 pro user. IT used to work pretty well, now it doesnt anymore. 

live tracking stopped working lately. on the companion app it shows me the link is"online" (the button glows green when i start a ride) but if I go on companion app setting -> live tracking it says i've a network issue, which i don't

- deleted both companion app and karoo from bluetooth lists multiple times - no change

- location enabled for the companion app on the iphone

- phone connected and karoo receives notifications

- everything is up to date ios, karoo and companion app
- location enabled for the companion app on the iphone
- live tracking enabled on the karoo setting

-battery saving off and app on screen not on background

- deleted both companion app and karoo from bluetooth lists multiple times - no change
- tried connecting karoo on home wifi while (and before) starting an activity - no change
- all sram and hammerhead acccount are connected
- rebooted iphone and karoo - no change
