I just used the garmin mounting thingy and bought an aftermarket out front mount that bolted onto the stem bolts. That way my Karoo was perfectly straight.

I've had the exact same problem. Mine was replaced by the reseller (futurumshop)

Hi Marcin, any follow up for this? Does it get covered by warranty?

Hello, my situation is a bit different, and the breakage along the edge is more extensive. I had the GPS unit mounted on my bike using a stem mount and a Garmin adapter. During a ride, I had to stop suddenly because of an ambulance, and my knee struck the Karoo. Although the mount flipped upward—absorbing some of the impact energy—parts of the frame where the mount slides in still broke off (see photo). A safety tether prevented the unit from falling onto the asphalt. I was still able to attach the unit using the Garmin adapter. Now I wanted to switch to the original mount, but unfortunately, due to the damage, it won't hold onto the unit at all. The fit on the Garmin adapter is also becoming looser, so I fear I soon won't be able to mount the Karoo at all.
The invoice for the Karoo is dated June 12, 2024, and was issued in Germany (where I live).
Is there any way to replace the Karoo's back panel (the mounting interface)? The rest of the unit looks great; the display has a screen protector and no scratches. Like the person who started this thread, I really like the Karoo for its excellent functionality and regular updates and enhancements.
Thanks in advance for your reply!
