ANT+ heartrate sensor not automatically detected on Karoo 2
AnsweredSince last few firmware updates my Garmin ANT+ heartrate sensor is not automatically detected on a ride anymore.
However if I go manually to Settings/Sensors then it detects it and from then on it works as expected.
I assume few things here:
a) sensor doesn't start from beginning but only after I sweat a bit (will try use some water next time so it starts sooner).
b) Karoo 2 doesn't see the sensor at the beginning and it just gives up trying (to conserve battery?).
Anybody else?

Hi Miha, we have seen that HRMs generally require to be moistened a bit for them to wake up. You can also restart the sensor search in the quickest way by going to the devices page on the Control Center.
Let us here know if the behavior on the Karoo doesn't change even when the strap is moistened enough.

Karoo has an excellent proposal, but it has serious connection problems ANT+, Hammerhead secretly assumes this, until then the problems were only with power meters, in HR I had not seen it yet, if this is a problem, firmware is not able to solve it, because the problem is physical on the ANT+ hardware.
