Wildly inaccurate data

I'm getting super inaccurate data from rides, even on Hammerhead's own dashboard. 

For instance, a ride I took yesterday shows 24.1 miles and 2187 feet of elevation gain on the ride summary screen, but when clicking in, it shows 28.8 miles and 3349 feet of elevation gain. This same ride, when added to Strava, came up at 21 miles and 2160 feet of elevation gain.

I took the same EXACT ride a couple weeks ago: same bike and everything. That one came out at 28.3 kiles and 3,369 feet of elevation gain (but on the summary screen on Hammerhead dashboard is 27.3 miles and 2224 elevation!). That one on Strava came out to be 27.26 miles and 2,221 feet elevation.

I'm so confused by all of this. What's happening?
